probably just made for Tesco trolleys the carpark isn't that level so u wouldnt5 notice the runout or wear

Apparantly the Chinese think high quality carbon steel can be had from melting down old bed frames and washing machines.

Timken are still producing bearings for the aero industry in Wolverhampton, possibly other UK factories as well but I only know of that one for sure as Ive been there!

they were made of spring steel we used to make trailer frames out of them 50 pence each from scrapyards

i made stuff from them as well, things of the past now, came with quality tools

don't remember the smell from it, was welding it with mild steel rods

I try to buy SKF when i can, we used to use them a lot in work in the machinery we used to build. Last time i went to buy bearings they were trying to push chinese rubbish on me, i told the guy serving i wouldn't take them for free, he was not impressed.
