...isn't concreting over your front garden slightly more involved than spreading a damp proof membrane over the grass and pouring out the concrete?
My neighbours need extra parking space, so they're doing away with the front garden. They have got a couple of blokes in to do the job, and the are laying lengths of 4x2 on the dpc and levelling out the wet concrete.
As I said, I'm no builder, but surely they need some sort of hardcore base underneath? Is 4" of concrete strong enough?
