I will second it don't last as long as they say ( even the dear stuff) it's realistically an annual job here but we are exposed to some serious weather
Using dulux this year I think and it needs doing before September 1st

give it a try steady away without 2 much pressure on comp

I always do the roughcast on mine with the schutz gun, much easier on the wrist.

I used an airless to do some stonewalls, it worked well.

The only thing to watch for (apart from overspray-which was not too bad in fact) is if using an exterior textured type paint, the bits in the paint can wear the jet thingy out quite quickly, but for the gun I had there was a special jet for that, or just have some spares.

Got to say tho, roller and long handle, lot less faffing about.

I thought I would come back and update this with how I got on.
Well with a baby born last year the painting of the pebbledash had to wait until this year.

On the advise of @brightspark I tried the schutz gun idea using my wee 50litre belt driven compressor.
It worked a treat! I had the first coat on the front and sides of the house in a day and will give it another coat when the weather picks up again.
Overspray is minimal with the schutz gun. I had to give the compressor breaks every so often as it was getting a hard time keeping up!

All in all, a success, especially as I don't have to brush/ roller it which would have been a nightmare!

I forgot to add I couldn't find a suitable container that would screw onto the schutz gun so I just cable tied a 2litre milk container to it.
