scrubbing up ok ,a little wear on the grips but don't think its worth changing them ,rare old vice and I am sure whoever buys it will just keep it the way it is ,still a good strong vice in good condition

Just reels of hook up wire. The machine to the right is a PCB router which is pretty cool as it can rout out tracks down to .2mm.

One smack and it'll shatter? (Joking of course)This is mine (currently a floor vice). In the absence of a bench grinder Ive made my own. Dont worry, its really safe! Mainly because its so flipping heavy its not going anywhere.
Its a Fortis Unbreakable - according to the casting on the side - and Im inclined to believe it after managed to put enough force through it (perhaps stupidly) to change a 205 wheel bearing.

Jesus H. Unsecured vice, lead trailing off, plastic casing gripped in steel jaws, what could possibly go wrong? Get yourself a proper grinder, if not just a cheap Chinese one if you really need one quick.
No guard on the grinder either, tut tut.
