Sip tip size

Hi All,

This is my first post, I've been reading the forum for a few weeks and I have found it very helpful.

I have searched but I can find the info anywhere. Can someone tell me what the size and pitch of the thread is for the tips that screw into the swan neck on my Sip 130 is supposed to be ?

I bought the welder 2nd hand and it looks like someone has cross threaded the tip at some point so I want to run a tap down there to clear the threads out.

Cant you compare a tap side by side with a tip?

I dont know the thread size sorry. Hopefully someone does.

hi, i re tapped mine, its an M5 thread

Mig tip thread size

Mine uses M6X1.0. In this area this seems to be standard for 180 A to 250 A machines. Good Luck
