Nabbed in a job lot. Thought they might make a decent former for the flypress but the edges are too delicate. Some sort of mould??

Aha! Thought I'd seen something like that before. Wonder if the rest of it is tucked away somewhere in those vast sheds...

They look a lot like the follower mandrels for a plumbers pipe bender. ... ... .... a very old one.

I've seen them with eyes on before for attaching a cord to prevent the followers hitting the ground if the should slip out of the bender at the end of the bend.
