as above really, and where can i get a longish (3-4") bolt and a nut. only need the one of each as its just something to hang a rifle moderator from so i can paint it

Use a smaller bolt wrapped with tape and screw it in, "Making its own thread" for the minimal weight its got to carry

That's a kind offer but all soften now thanks
zeus, and a 6 inch rule, always with me. Used them daily, the 6" rule mostly, cleaning finger nails, stirring tea, scraper and occasionally measuring stuff..
need to get another zeus, gave it to one of the local lads on the last job, overseas, he'd never see one.
