Boiler Suit'y type of question

In preperation of my forthcoming evening classes I dug out my boiler suit but somehow it doesn't quite fit anymore
Anyone know of anywhere that sells them for the more vertically challenged person? (last one I tried the crotch ended up around my knees and I looked more like a penguin on speed )
Any help would be mucho appreciated

When I took welding classes I bought a used boiler suit from the local army surplus store for about a fiver,can't say that worn it since though - it was like wearing a straightjacket.

Ive been having problems finding ones that are a nice fit aswell.

Get the legs and body right but the shoulders/arms rip off if i pick anything up

Best compromise so far has been Dickies FR.

If youve been having problems, perhaps a local agricultural merchant or workwear or even welding shop might let you try some on. It will cost a bit more, but youll hopefully get some that are right for you that way.

Sizes seem to have no meaning what so ever on overalls

If you dont want to stretch to proban(fire resistant) ones, get some 100% cotton ones instead. Steer clear of the poly cotton mixes if you want them to last.

Hi Hitch,

That's the problem over here, no choice It's difficult to order on the internet as sizes vary so much. I've got jackets at 42" too big and ones at 46" too small.
At 5'6" it's difficult to find ordinary clothing less alone something esoteric like a boiler suit

Go to a Dickie's agent, they will have a long list of sizes and styles, far more than is stocked on the shelve, your have to wait a couple of weeks and get them ordered on a special, I'm the opposite, tall and skinny, so If I buy standard sizes for my body, I can do the slim fast ad imprestion.... I get High vis inferno, in a small body size but to fit my 6'1" frame......no problems

If you've got Halfords over there they do dickies fire retardent overalls in 3 sizes for around £23.

dickies do some nice two piece black little numbers,bin known to end up clubbin in mine

No Dickies agents or Halfrauds here either I'm afraid, I think Mr Google might have to come to play (as long as they don't try to charge me £99 for postage like some t*sser tried the other week!!!!)
