drag gun 38 internal connections

Hi, all I have just had my thermal dynamics drag gun 38 repaired by a Muppet. It was returned to me with a capacitor spare I asked where it came from and was told " I no no where it go " so has any body got any pic of internal components of this machine?

Hi, No the welder does not work, or rather I have not tried it as I wold like the component in it's rightful position so as no other problem can arise ( hopefully ). I would like to put some pic's on but have no idea as to how I can do this, advice gratefully received.

it looks like it could be a varistor that stops spikes

is there a part number on the loose part and did you post the exact machine model as I can see that part on the schematic

From that photo looks like you have quite a build up of grinding dust on the board.
Problem is it becomes conductive and can short components out.

Hi, Snooper. After getting the magnifying glass out I can make out 25W 472M 3kv, hope you can help with this info? And point me in the right direction? could this machine be run off of a domestic power supply?

Hi, WorshopChris. It may look like it's covered with grinding dust but the board is covered with a plastic cover and it's finger prints you can see, but thanks for the input.hope to hear from you again as I may need help at a latter date. I am extremely new to plasma cutting and all help is really important at all times and help is receive with thanks.

not exactly in series as there is a connection in the center of them, there is also 1 more further back, as far as I can see there are only 3 in the full machine so you should be able to find where it goes
