Right I have some numbers

For Sunderland (premiership) it is £15,000 per minute for a televised match.

To compare, in 2008 to advertise on the touch line at Westham it was £3000 per minute for a televised match

Didn't know that they actually employed sound engineers, always sounded like a f@rt through a foghorn when I've been at one.

For the away fans that's how it will sound as Bolton haven't invested in updating the system for the south stand.
It's a difficult thing projecting sound in a large tin box, I'm glad someone has had the thought to use a sound engineer

For Bolton it's a mostly empty tin box as they are struggling to pull more than half a stadium at around 15,000 *away attendance depending*

Just need to persuade them to fit a Martin line array system

My mother-in-law is a Forest fan and we're watching it now. We know one of the Brighton players as our daughter is at nursery with his daughter. Either way it's a pretty dreary game!

Imagine how frustrated you would become if they did fit one and no live music to put through it

I used to be a lot more into it, part of an active gig circuit and played with a lot of Soundcraft R&D consoles as well as quite a few toys from the Harmon Karden stable.

Not having enough time is the biggest trouble these days.
