yes i'll have to get back at the dozer. i've had loads to do. just got a new shed and i've been busy wiring it up to take the blasting cabinet. i'm also doing another pillar drill. i've got three but i just can't help myself i need therapy for drill addiction

I've found getting another one helps. Does sod all for the addiction, but improves the collection.

Model engineers produce some amazing stuff.

There was a documentary on the TV a few years ago, one of the people featured was a woman who built a steam locomotive, took a video of it running and then deliberately disabled it by painting all the moving parts.

That sounds like Cherry Hill, does that name ring a bell? She made some very accurate and authentic models of early machines of all sorts, she'd run them on compressed air, then make them into museum type displays once proved to work.

Both Cherry Hill and Barry Jordan were members of SM&EE when I was a member about ten years ago.

I would love to have that milling machine and the DSG lathe in the lounge as ornaments i'd never stop playing with them. i could gladly throw the telly out and watch them instead
