Car Boot Sales

in the last few years tools at car boot sales have declined so has second hand machinery. e bay is responsible for part of it 2nd theres not the amount of engineering firms going down now flogging manual lathes ect last car boot sale I went to at sedgfield was massive great or not , came away with a bottle of loctite for a quid it was all household crap kids toys clothes and market stall garbage there is the odd scoop but not very often that's why I only go to a couple of autojumbles tools and machines only

eBay has killed cheap cameras too, everyone thinks they are worth mega money because a similar one is actually rare, but the one they have was cheap when it was new and it hasn't improved with age

I went to the Rufforth one this morning. A better set up than the Whitley Bridge one by far, but other than a few tool boxes full of rusty rubbish and some people that needed a bath, there was very little of interest to me. Bought my daughter a hat with rabbit ears on and that was it.

Will try the Auto jumble on Saturday i reckon.

it will be reasonably decent if u go there Saturday but get there for 7 am and bomb round quick if u see 2 blokes going round fast missing the cheap tool traders out its me and me bruv
