Retractable electrical lead

I'm slowly improving my workshop this year and I spotted a couple of these retractable electrical leads on eBay which were much cheaper than similar Draper ones and thought they would be quite handy. However I didn't notice the ends were European, they did come with an adaptor for the plug end but nothing for the other end so I decided to put on new ends rather than return them.

It's nothing exciting but I think a couple will come in handy around the workshop and will be much neater than my old electrical cable reels and thought others might be interested in this sort of thing.

Two options, go for the proper UK one or just cut the end off and fit your own trailing lead adaptor. Don't forget to have tested by a competent electrician

And yes they are quite good, keeps trip hazards off the floor

and if you plan to put a decent load on it, make sure it's fully unwound.
