Are they fitted to keep people in or keep thieves out?

and could have kept it symmetricalThe window bars look odd, as above, maybe a little narrower would have been easier on the eye.
Look good though!
Something I need to fabricate for the kennels I think..
and could have kept it symetrical
my point being the hinge side, it is not evenly spaced, and yes I have built grills before as well as large gates and trailers for a company called newland trailers do I have pictures no, if you are going to get touchy over comments maybe best not to post pics. What ? it starts with plain square and double bushes it finishes the same way between each there is two twisties. That is pretty darn symmetrical in my book
the door one likewise!
Do you build many railings you can show us?

just an observation
go to jail it looks a bit much and the window looks odd. and I have made bars in the electrical shop where I used to work . nothing personal just my opinion
I wasn't referring to the hinges not being spaced evenly, I was referring to the outer flat bar that the hinges mount to being close to the next upright with the double bushes, where as the opposite side and all others have equal spaceit certainly is and I set it up do you want to know the centres or something? Are you even aware it has a 90 degree return at one side for a reason - yet you cant even see that - wow ? I think I have just made an observation myself
forget it I will just not bother posting jobs with so many experts who post nothing
yeah the door grill is spot onits nice work kent, but i can understand what the lads are saying as well so dont fault them.
maybe its just the angle of the pic but it looks like the first infill on the lhs is closer to the frame than the rest of the spacing's?
and because its hung on a hinge its moved the whole frame over so it now looks like its overhanging the window on the rhs.
the door end of it is prefect and looks well.

I have jus
but no one mentioned the 55mm return its obvious it has to pass the cill, no one said its out of square and its obvious the guy wants to clean his window, no one mentioned your living room having a grill or questioned why a shop would want one, it obvious all I pointed out was that is simply wasn't symmetrical due to the upright that the hinges fix too, you over reactI have just about had enough of those who bring nothing to the party but drink all the boose. Going to end up with half the forum on ignore
the window is placed into the corner - I have to come off the wall, I then have to put a return of 55mm to get over the cill overhang. The head of the soffit is out of square the frame is not and it has to hinge so the guy can clean his window.
might I put a grill over my living room etc? No - but its a shop IN THE TOWN some break in others just chuck a bin through your window because they are drunk and feeble minded
not having a go at you just had enough of these vulavaunt eaters
