Need a small boat moving in Manchester

Hi all, i may need a small GRP boat of 12 foot long moving from M72JA to M264HU 7 miles. can any one help out, it can be dragged or maybe lifted, unsure yet of the weight, but in the boats i have had not heavy these wee ones. Please let me know a price.

hire a flat trailer or even lend adjustable boat one. Have moved boats as big as an Orkney Longliner like this 4 man lift though gunwale down strap it down

moved any a trailer in the past my self from 10-25 foot, just no tow bar, trailer or anything but straps. just wondered if anyone fancied a few beer tokens local to me.

ah, that would be useful, in a rush typing as busy as hell. it is a small motor boat
, easy to drag on a trailer or maybe a flat bed/luton.

Sounds lovely I'm after a more coastal motor boat, maybe a wee cuddy on the front. Then again I could sit in the bath burning tenners and it'd be a similar experience

Any chance of some pics after you pick her up? Are you intending restoring her at all or is she already in good shape?

The boat is a no goer, but thanks for the offer of collecting it, i have seen one here, but at 5` 6 " long a bit short lol, i am sure she is wrong there, maybe 9-10 foot long.

good cheap speed boat, no good for my purpose though, and engine would be a prob cost wise unless the tranosm is fettle for an outboard, but would spoil the boat

Could be a change of plan though, i am tempted to get the one i have done for this summer, well, not finished but aslong as it floats and is painted and dry, its fine, just need to lay the wires and line it out with a bit of rear deck work and it could go on the water, then finish fitting out during weekends away.
I jsut know how much harder it is to work on boats whislt afloat than being on the drive. take longer aswell..

First one looks like a fletcher so yeah if imagine it's more around the 8 to 10 ft mark, a 30 on that and it'll fly. Second one ideally needs a jet drive or a z drive, and that's going to be expensive

I would of had the speed boat, but as said, no for pottering around on look out for next big project. I think that and the inboard set up would be a bit more than i need at the minute with the boat i am doing, just wanted a boat to drop a outboard on then clean and go.

Always the way, boats and engine i have had, christ i could have a boat yard as i egret selling al of them lol.

I dont know if you know the palce but there is a DIY boat just out side of Lym that at times has very cheap boats for sale.
