should think you need a wire cutter instead mate,Google them and be amazed.is it possible to buy a metal laser cutter for a reasonable price say 4-5 k? im looking for a machine to cut small intricate metal parts without much distortion with good accuracy, the parts being no larger then 10'' long, has anybody on here experience with this?
ive been doing that but I always manage to misinterpret the info and get lost in it,also i believe its outside my budget?should think you need a wire cutter instead mate,Google them and be amazed.
OMG "thread at risk ""thread at risk"I know you asked for laser.....
But thought I'd mention R-Tech have cnc plasma's around your budget:

Says they are accurate, maybe worth investigating ?
good job I was sitting down for that one lol cheers!I don't think a really small laser cutter will be much cheaper than a big one, the cost will be in the mighty CO2 laser inside it (I think you need about 500 watts to cut 3 mm steel). They have an 80 watt one at school (Might even be 40 watt) and apparently it cost 17k.
I could buy 10 of my own house for bout wat they're worth nowwell im more restricted by wallet then space ha ha,i expect their cost is more then my house??
