How can I improve?

I have been welding for a few days now and have got to a respectable standard for my level do any of you have suggestions to improve my welds

Welcome DeanC. Welds look cold. Turn the power (voltage) up a little.

Get onto gas shielded or MMA, gasless welds although sound often don't look pretty.

Couldn't agree more.
Best improvement you could make would be to not weld on scabby rusty steel.
