Which Multi Function Machine Jasic/Migatronic/Xcalibur

OK, not completely new to welding - I'm on farm and proficient with the old Oxford Arc welder, but I'm finding I'm needing more and more "Special" welding and everything getting thinner, I've know the basics for MIG and want to get myself a reasonable machine.

Visited the local welding supplies and have been offered the following;

Jasic 160 or 200 (JM-160C and JM-200C)
Xcalibur XCM-2000P
Migatronic Rallymig 161i

Anyone got any experience good or bad with these machines, I'm struggling to decide, there isn't a huge difference in the pricing either.... (the 200amp Jasic is the most expensive, and I kinda think I'll just be sticking with the Oxford Arc welder for anything high amperage)

My local dealer does jasic and had a multifunction on a deal - s very good deal I will see if he still has it but got wayy lota snow come down today

Have a look at this machine. Make them in York and are a well respected welding company.

They don't make that machine anymore & that was one from their range that was built in China & upspecced by them. Its now been updated to the Tec Arc multi 200i which is the same sort of deal except with HF TIG.

Xcalibur 200 & the Jasic 200 are the same machine in different colours. Both machines have nice mig quality but nothing overly outstanding.
Consider the GYS multi pearl 200, beautiful set.

I'd avoid the migatronic.. Barely any UK backup as AFAIK the whole of the UK is covered by only one rep & 1 or 2 service guys.

Very good set, used to own one personally and got on alright with it for the short period of time I had it.

Think it was mid 2015 when it was updated and still showing the old set on the web site. Does not look well if it's been out 6 months and they have not changed the web site to show off the new model

Yes just had a read, sounds good - but is another step up in price.....(going by Prices here anyway)

By the "same machine" I mean they're made in the same factory and have pretty much the same insides bar a little more config on the xcalibur.
One thing i'll say is that the xcalibur range has been discontinued now so you might find your backup options on it very limited.. although i'm not entirely sure on Wilkinson Star's policy on them.

Do you mind me asking what you've been quoted on these machines?

They rarely do updates on their website.. I actually started re-making their website for them ages but it got put on hold due to work stuff etc..
