Since its sort of ontopic for the OP - is a handbrake warning light a fail?
Neighbours renaulthas a dodgy sensor - handbrake itself is fine, tho.
a lot of the handbrake waring lights are operated via single wire to switch which connects to the body, and as mrfuzzy they also double for low fluid warningjust short the wires if u dont wanna fork out for a new sensor, i thought they had switches on the handbrakes at the rear under the plastic cover normally adjustable too
