Best 300 amp arc welder?

Been looking at welder generators around the 300 amp mark. They all seem to produce 6kva power. So my first question is, will a 6kva generator (not welder generator) be able to power a 300 amp mma? Second question if the above is positive, best quality 300 amp mma welder? 3 phase preferred.

Would appear like a much cheaper option than a genny welder so obviously there must be something I'm missing!

Buy a Lincoln Ranger 305 D, it will cater for MMA and MIG with a suitable feeder, however you wont get a 300 amp inverter to run off it as well as it only has 16 amp three phase at 10,500 watts, not enough to run a second welder.

6 kva isn't enough to run a 240 volt 150 amp stick set.
You need a 20 kva at least for a 300 amp o run safely. Forget trying to run a welder off a genny, hold out for a decent engine driven welder/genny.

I can run my 250 warrior mig flat out Jim on my 10KVA Honda SDMO which is built into the van

Miller trailblazer has 12kw, ranger 10 has 10kw and 250a CV. If you need lots of aux power, you need a vantage 400.

According to Tec Arc their multi process machine will run off 6kva with a stable supply. Not 300amp though. Much better like Jim says get something thats built to do the job. I have a Ranger with wire feeder.
