as a question what amount of argon flow is needed when aluminium tig welding

If youre asking how much flow you need? Then the honest answer is enough to make your weld good, but thats not too helpful.
I can only tell you what i have found and that is i cant seem to get away with any less than 5 liters a minute.
Number 6 ceramic, standard gas lens.

thanks seems I must be using more gas than I need I seem to do ok then a different bit of ally and its all learning again I will go and get a few bits of scrap and have another bash thanks again

Usually 5-7lpm but depends on how good your reg is, length of hose, type of collet set up etc, gas lens

ok so today had a bash on ally tig welding set up 8 gas lens 1.6 filler rod 2.4 tungsten + collets etc 50% balance 168htz 7 lph argon 50-60 amps no foot pedal
didn't evan stainless brush the ally came up shiny neat beads nothing spectacular but pretty neat for a novice run the beads on flat plate 2-3mm thanks for the tips

50% balance isn't great IMO but if it's working then stick with what works. Id be looking 70% DCEN particularly with a small tungsten.

Dcen 70%. So only 30% cleaning is my ideal.

Looking good paceman. Some consistent runs there. Id have a crack at some butt joints. Practice tacking right on the edges then weld the full length between the tacks and see if you can control the pool right to the end and finish without a crator. That should keep you going a while. Nice runs mate.

its feeding the filler that's the hardest I struggle a bit thank you for your advice I will get a few bits cut up and have a go

Give yourself enough length from your fingers to start with and not worry about feeding for now. Concentrate on the welding and don't give yourself too much to do all at once.
