The orelikon mp isn't a bad unit tbh. Spencer bought one over mine not long back and it's a decent plant. It's bigger than the others in size but from the little time I had with it I quite liked it. Didn't feel cheap n nasty. I wouldn't bother with a Jassic for professional use.

Wilkinson Star is the authorised importer of these brands and others including Jasic as far as I know.

Just gone into CAE, it seems like SWP are the preferred suppliers?

I can't see it repairing the barrels at all but thinking on they might be decomissioning / deactivating old guns with one. A most useless tool for repairing guns I can't imagine

Cebora are now imported weldfast and CEA is now imported by SWP.
Both brands used to be imported by Wilkinson Star.

They were still offering cea in 2015 but lost cybora which is when jasic came about I think
Perhaps they lost exclusive cea?

They definitely lost CEA to SWP as we were asked by them to be a distributor for the CEA kit which we turned down for a couple of reasons which I won't go into.

They were offering Cebora in 2015 but as of now do not, the stuff in 2015 was clearing the last of their stock.

I've not used that warrior type so I can't comment on them but the caddy 200i is far from a pile of ####. It's not going to compete with a 250 amp plus unit on high current long runs as its only 200 amps tops but it is a decent little unit. The Kemppi is the same again it's a lovely little compact mig if you work within its range.

I am not personally saying that because I honestly don't know.Was really just saying that it's really down to an individuals preference and opinion vary so widely on here. Whatsmyjumper reckons oerlikon is a cheap feeling machine. I have one and think differently. Also I cam nail a long run at
235A ish on the Oerlikon which is.10mm plate amperage so that pretty good.

ESAB & Victor Technologies have been under the same roof for a while now mate. They've got themselves a nice little group of brands under their name now.
Thermal Arc, Thermal Dynamics, ESAB, Tweco, ArcAir, Victor, Stoody etc..

We don't deal with anyof them although both my boss' love ESAB stuff, always singing the praises.

The answer is that the Rainbow fits the bill,weight,duty cycle etc.When we went into the machines electronics,no problem!The casing is rubbish.This machine has to do alot of up and down ladders.It will not last 5 minutes

Both good machines, if I had to choose between the two it'd be the Kemppi. Only drawback I see with it is the wired in torch.

I've used both side by side and I'll be totally honest I couldn't find a winner. Both fixed torches both have a form of synergic line that is accurate both pretty much identical in size and weight both have the lcd panel and hold the same spools.

Mine's the Kemppi Minarcmig 200, but it's fitted with a euro connector. It hangs out on a short lead from the same hole the fixed torch would come from - as opposed to being mounted on the panel - which was the only way I'd come accross euro connectors before this one.

I've no idea how the synergic part works, but the only thing I remember reading was that you can't change the length of the earth lead, (it has some precise impedance, maybe - I don't properly remember!) or that could (or would) mess up the setings.

@F.J. - You haven't changed the earth lead recently, and somehow "shifted" the synergic settings a bit?

It doesn't matter who thinks what! This whole thread is based purely on opinions and experiences and his experience could be different to yours.

Is it just a 200A DC TIG machine?
If it is you could look at the Miller max star 200, EWM Tetrix 200 or one of Matts Lorches.

What is it exactly you need to do with it?
