Is the price of their box section listed the per meter price?

If so it looks be cheap.

I had some 50x50x3 box off them the other day. Paid £22 including vat for a 7.5m length.

Wonder what it is for quantity now. Might be worth a call on the next load

Nah, there was £10 del on top. Used to only use them for perforated sheet but they seem to have dropped their prices a lot since the last time I looked.

You know a few of my suppliers charge me a silly fee even on big deliveries
I can mostly get the price down if I push but not the fee
Mad really once they had to use two waggons and still charged me a fee on each because it was too heavy for one and the drivers can't get a real big waggon in ( though I have had a big twin steer down with block)

I am new to this so I didn't really know what to expect so looked on ebay first. 1 metre of 20x20x2 was £10.28 that's why when I looked at brundles it seemed so cheap!!

I use Brundles a fair bit in my day job but nearly always collect from the Rainham/essex branch,
virtually everything they list is in stock,
depends on who you speak to as for me they say around £100 and its free delivery,
i get them to rough cut while i wait a lot of stuff to shorter lengths to fit into the van, theres a small cutting charge.
prices have dropped a bit all round, got a 2m x 1m x 1.2mm cold rolled steel sheet for about £13 plus the vat last week from Brundles.

im waiting on a delivery from them, cant find anyone online that is cheaper than them and they sell in proper lengths rather tan 3M lengths or shorter so i can cut what i need from it rather than needing 2 lengths and having to weld bits on to get it long enough

I have an account with them and if you shop around ie get a price from K Steels, Advanced steel or say John Chorleys, Brundles will price match and still give me 90 days to pay

My order was £200 and I still paid delivery although the other place I use charge £25+vat no matter what size of the order. Not bad for big orders but for a few bits it makes it expensive.

still, a tenner delivery on 200 quids worth of steel isnt bad, although im sure if you ring them and speak to them they may realise they shouldnt have charged you if they dont charge over 150

Yeah. Can't grumble. Cheap del, decent price on steel and a good service too. Definitely getting my custom from now on. Rarely place massive orders so the delivery charge from others negates the cheaper price on the steel.
