I have one merc that has constantly got battery/ alt written warning on dash and the crazy thing is they leave it locked alarmed for months at a time when they go working abroad and it has never let them down.?? alt tests out perfect, they are water cooled and £400 pounds to replace.
Correct Andy it has stayed working perfectly with no issues at all and as said they leave it stand locked for months at a time! which you would think would eventually flatten the battery but no, it just keeps working !!That'd be the one we spoke about on the phone. So you/they decided to leave it be for the moment.
