Need a HELP

hi guys,am a welder from Kosovo and I need a help from anyone who got a mig welder Tecnika TX 260 A
My amperage controller(rotary switch) is broken and its very hard to find another one becouse the serial number is deleted from the letter adjacted in part(rotary switch) and with this problem I cant order the new one becouse of this problem

My request from you is for anyone who got this kind of welder please let control the number adjacted in the rotary switch and send me.

The rotary switch is Salzer m220,like in this photo,but the serial number was written in letter ,but now is deleted and I cant identify what number was

If anyone can help me,I will be thankfull for life

At first thanks a lot for trying to help,but this one is not what Im looking for

The part should have 10 steps from 0 to 10,and should have 6 stage and 3 bridge...

Its really hard to explain the way how to find out this part...I have contacted with Salzer electric GmbH in Germany(the factory who had produce it)but they request is the serial number of part(unfortunately mine is deleted like in photo)

Maybe someone who got this kind of mig welder can help me...

You can se those numbers 2 l 4 6l8 10l12 14l16 18l20 and 22l24
I have found one of this like you sent to me but the part need to have one stage more

it really seems the same,but the part must have 0 1 2 3 4 5...10.
and the numbers alongside the part are not compatible...Im not sure if it works...

The numbers on the side are just terminal numbers. You will need to match up the positions and not the numbers, or just renumber the switch

So what I understand you're saying that I can combine cam switch.But the problem is that I cant repair my cam switch(I ask a welder engineer)...Problem is that none on my town haven't any idea how to fix it...there's possiblities to find a welder like mine TECNIKA3 TX 260 A,for those who have this kind of welder,can look out the serial number written on relevant part,and show me and then I can order directly to Salzer factory(I've contacted and they request is the serial number and they easily can find the part)

Maybe it can be combined but I cant and I dont know how to do it,even engineers dont know the way how to fix it

I think he knows that they are terminal numbers, the number he wants is the one on the label he has ringed / (rectangled actually) in red in this photo

Rotary switches like that are a nightmare to match, I did a 'simple' three phase 2 segment one for a two post lift and had ALL the numbers, which I gave to the manufacturer , it was a nightmare even the company that made it and supplied the replacement got it wrong, I had to strip it and rebuild it correctly,I though oh how hard can that be -------it took hours I would not like to attempt a 6 teir one, like that one for the welder, at all.
Burhan I HOPE you have made a map/card of where all the wires go!!

The combinations are limitless with some segments having NO and/or NC and two different combination switches in one segment then there is the cam shaft actions and combinations.
It is MINDBLOWING. I very nearly gave up and that believe me is very hard for me to say, because I am tenacious when it comes to things like that.
The one i was doing was a VERY simple 2 segment one, in comparison.

The photo of the switch in post #3 implies that the shaft has broken off? Is the switch jammed or burnt inside, or does it just need a new shaft? I don't know if they are plastic or steel, but maybe it would be easier to find someone to fix the shaft?

The shaft isnt a shaft it is a combined stacking assembly, the cams are separate and slide inside each other with male and female splines and the position of the cam splines is critical to each other so if it is broken at the end (well spotted btw) he would only require the first segment of the switch NOT the switching segments and MUST not move or strip the assembly any further than necessary

--------number 9 T 2603 Stufenschalter / Interrupteur 5 pos. is the five position voltage control switch IMO but the OP says it has 10 steps??

I did not look properly, just took it from machines above (lesser models) position of parts. I know it shows it as "5 positions" but have found in past illustrators can get lazy and have been known to copy and paste!

HA HA I have NEVER worked on or done such a complicated bit of switching than those rotary switches, the one i did was a kraus naimer and as said even they couldn't match their own switching arrangement I spent hrs on the phone to them and gave them EVERY number off the switch, so if the serial /part numbers have gone/unreadable it is hopeless.
