converting a Kingsland ironworker to single phase

I know where there's a 3 phase 45 ton punch /shear for £1700 with a loaf of punches

How big is the motor /how much work is it to change to single phase??

Is it just a simple motor switch or are there other components that are 3 phase in there??

Is it the mechanical or hydraulic version?
I have a 40 ton Mubea 5 station ironworker that's mechanical and I used to run it on a 3KW single phase motor but when I bought my VFD I put the original 3 phase 2KW motor back on and it runs fine.

Hydraulic which is why I was thinking maybe more to it that a simple change

So is your 3 phase motor 415/240? ?

Yes the motor is 415/240v so an easy change, my ironworker is about 35 years old so no safety interlocks which might be a problem with a newer machine.
