The editing on mull of kintyre was to re-create the 'mark and lard' version from radio 1 of yesteryear, anyone remember it?

I have a fealing tho it was down to leaving the audience wanting more.. maybe not still being in an an afternoon slot 15 years on doing the same gags with knowone finding them funny....hmmmm I wont go there.... love to here Radcliff and Tarbuck fill aforementioned slot on 2 tho.

Best show on R1 at the mo has to be Zane Lowe, he plays some great stuff. I quite often look at his playlists and try stuff out, found some cracking tracks by doing that.

Zane I like, but my favourte has to be Tim Westwood, Hip Hop Im no great lover of, the guys a genius, makes me laugh "REAL BIG"... No one replaces JP tho a great loss...Im bemused by people who only listen to music from a certain genure, or years they miss out on so much.... I sort of forgot Glastonbury was on tv, just watching the verve now, not a bad line-up really, I think the whole Jay-Z business was a load of cr@p though, that whole row got blown out of all proportions.
Gonne have to download the footage and catch up on it. That's one of the drawbacks of being married to a telly hog .

Well, last night was a total success! A good night was had by all, the last guest left at 03.45
The haggis was absolutely gorgeous, first time I'd ever tried it! (Proper one too, in the traditional casing )

Stuart, as you probably know, women have an uncanny ability to watch tv from another room or with closed eyes. My wife could be snoring her head off on the sofa but as soon as I change the channel she suddenly wakes and utters those immortal words

We've solved that one by having a TV in most rooms apart from the bathroom (she hasn't figured out how, yet) and my radio room (PC has a TV card but no antenna).
I'm surprised she hasn't asked for one in her potting shed.

Hehe... i'm almost ashamed to say that me and my Mr almost always agree on what to watch on the tv...
The only thing that bothers me is that he has to put the bloody thing on right after he gets home..............may sound stupid, but i really like to discuss our days, what he did that day and so on....when you're doing shifts it doesen't happen a lot you're at home and awake at the same time as your partner.....
Then the scenario is as follows: i'm talking to him, he's trying to look at me and the telly at the same time, says: uhuh... every now and then, zaps a bit more, finds something funny on the telly.... starts laughing...by that time i'm repeating myself and almost ready to toss the friggin' thing out! aaaaaaaaaaargh!

A quick follow-up to this thread, I bought this the other day, it's a few years old but it's fantastic!
It's even got a track by Salsa Celtica who Mr Drains recommended, full-on salsa but with bagpipes!
