I could use a scroll former but can't afford (nor bring myself to pay) £260 for the metalcraft one, lovely though it is - has anyone made their own and willing to share a photo or two?

What thickness of material do you intend to scroll, I used to make my own but it was hardly worth the bother with the price ready made can be bought for.

Apologies, brain not in gear this evening, it's the metalcraft twisting machine I was looking at - want to twist 10mm square bar, doing it in the vice at the mo but keeping it straight is hard going

It can be done but is easier with a the right jig/system even if home made.
