You're nearly into EWM Tetrix 230 territory on price there. It's worth a look if you're about to drop that kind of money on a set.

Personally i wouldn't touch the ESAB with a barge pole even it was considered one of the best machines out there due to the CANbus nonsense. Over £450 for a foot pedal!! Granted all virtually all manufacturers foot remotes are insanely expensive/overpriced but at least with those that use a nice simple pot and microswitch you can buy an SSC pedal which will be at least as well made, usually have better ergonomics and is sensibly priced. Or make your own
FWIW if my Lincoln died tomorrow the short list for it's replacement in no particular order would be EWM, Lorch, Kemppi and maybe a Fronius magicwave but i'm probably too tight. As nice as Millers Dynasty 200 or the 210 that's replacing it is i'd rather have the extra 10 - 30A offered by the Europeans, a dynasty 280 is very appealing http://www.weldmet.co.uk/shop/productinfo/4009/hwindex.htm?lc=en&cc=global but with a cooler attached is gonna be over 50kg
