PPS Disposable paint pot system feedback

I currently run a regular gravity paint pot but have an attachment with my gun to use the PPS disposable pots. What is the general feedback on these fro experience. I can see the reduction in clean up time and use of thinners cleaning the pot and no need for separate mixing pots and filters so it sounds like it could be cheaper on the face of it.. but that would surprise me!? Does the system hinder paint flow at all as it nears the end of the pot or can you get all the paint out just fine?
Really appreciate some feedback before I go and kit up with standard filters and bits!

I look back at the "old" system now and think you have to be daft to use it. I'm a hobby sprayer not a pro, if I was a pro you'd actually be overall financially better off with PPS.

Brilliant system.
Main benefit is the ability to spray at any angle and the lack of drips form the air hole in conventional lid.
Plus filter built into lid.
You can clean them and re-use them if you want.
Downside is the order quantity of 50 per pack but there are people who will split them and sell less. Buy some from them and try it.

There is a norton system that's cheaper which I may use on my next project.

not sure if you would be better off financially, as you can get solvent stills to recycle your used solvents which will be perfect for gun wash, would be interesting to know for sure which way is cheaper commercially

Some of the financial saving is due to the time saved on reduced cleaning.

About a pound.

But you don't need to waste 1/4 litre gunwash or buy filters or mixing cups.

There are smaller mini-PPS (and bigger) PPS cups available. They use the same fitting on the gun.

sure is more convenient. I am borrowing a gun over the weekend with PPS so will see what I reckon.

I'm using the SATA cup system. I have adapters for all my guns and like it a lot.

The Norton system is comparable to PPS and is worth looking at if you are just getting set up as it's a bit cheaper. Having the threads on the inside of the cup though makes it more difficult to deal with drips whilst pouring the paint in though. Possibly the liner seats a bit better though.

I was put off by the Sata system as you still have the possiblity (though reduced) of the blocked air hole problem and you cannot spray at any angle. It's more expensive than even PPS too.

There's also DeVilbiss DeKups, but they are more expensive than PPS and more fiddly with separated parts and you have to clean the lid.
