Finally got round to making a small stove thanks to finding a supply of redundant bottles:
I think I am going to have to go smokeless due to the location of my workshop, if I am right that means I will need a fire base approx a third the way up the bottle with some controllable air feed below it... as you will now realise I am a bit green concerning combustion and stoves.
I have some 12mm round bar, would that do or would it not be heavy enough and simply disintregate.
Secondly if anyone local wants a bottle FOC let me know and I will get one for you, they have all had their valves broke off at some time, probably for scrap, are scruffy and moss covered but the main thing is they are perfectly legal to use as you wish.... I have checked with the original supplier.
