Just thought at the price it will be handy some times , Could have done with it a couple of weeks ago. Son was having problems with his bike stem bolt, A mate of his had screwed the bolt right out but couldn't get the stem out, then couldn't get the bolt to restart, even with the bike inverted, After removing the front brake unit still could not see what was happening inside, took ages to pick up the net on the stem bolt, borescope would have been perfect,

I got one of those cameras when I got frustrated with work colleagues not taking photos of parts on development at work.

I was really surprised at the general quality of the results. Quite good.
They come with a driver disc for Windows but a W7 PC detects the camera when it's plugged in and loads a VGA camera driver and it all worked OK once the PC was re-booted.
Can't help with Mac stuff though, sorry.

What are you going to use your borescope for Gordon ?

Look in the CD slot to try and find a minidisc?

I sent Gordon the software but it wasn't mac compatible ebay states that you need the latest version of photobooth software

SUCCESS (Well partial) Thanks everyone for your help and assistance, Managed to get it operating through the latest version of mac photo booth, picture quality not too bad at all, However the image is reversed, things facing right appear facing left, Cant find anything that will correct it, Tried all the usual, view,edit.camera etc. All to no avail.

good stuff

In the menu bar click Edit, then "Auto Flip New Items". After you do that, the photos and videos you take will capture what the camera sees, and not reverse it.

Hi Snooper, You are a star, installed the Qcamera app, Looking good now, Its been a journey but got there in the end, Just wish I had the computer knowledge and intelligence to sort these things out myself, Thanks again everyone,
