Go on then what you guys think of Stanley migs

Well found pretty obvious once you go on their page they make the Stanley welders. Stanley everywhere on it.

Perhaps not as poor quality and people first thought then.
All the reviews on amazon from the USA seem positive on Stanley welding kit, though many are first time users there are a few experienced guys.

I don't think the point was that it was poor quality, more that you'd expect and could get much better value for £400 or so. It's very under specified for its price, at least as sold by Screwfix in the UK. Maybe it's a better proposition in the US?

Fair point PTvor, dare say though with screwfix deals on every now and again you would be able to get it for a lot less on occasions at that point 'if' it was a decent enough Italian machine it wouldn't be a bad offering.
