bandsaw blades sizing

ive got a mini band saw the blade is a 13mm x0.65mm x1470mm (14TPI)
now ive finaly broken it and will be getting a bi metal one. question is is it posible to get a thicker blade (0.9mm) to help stop blade flex?

13mm blade can be had in 0.9mm thickness and that extra 0.3mm makes a hell of a lot of difference to stiffness.The trouble is it also requires more power/rigidity from the machine to use it

well i got a new blade. bimetal in 0.65 but now i got a probelm of it not cutting stright. the blade is flexing. the blade guid needs to move more forward but it wont go naymorw without making up somthing

Try adjusting the blade guides (rollers or slides) for blade width. Roller guides are usually mounted on an eccentric bolt, so you have to be careful to do exactly the same to the top and bottom. When adjusting slides take the blade off the drive wheels, and have it just running through the guides, so you can feel the movement.
