Epoxy Primer Choices and PPE

I bought a new can, different brand and it worked well, i sprayed the bike bits the other night with it and it was touch dry very quickly. I'll let it harden off for a week or so and flatten it down.

So anyone used epoxy 121 or 421 buy rustbuster ?

Just pricing up Epoxy Primer and Paints 4 U only sell it in 5L (@63).
I am only looking at about 2 Ltrs for now so looking at the mix ratio of 2:1 i'll need 1L of activator

Should I get the Fast Activator or standard?

Looking at the data sheet on the Paints 4 U the spraying mix ratio is 0 - 100ml Thinners to 1000ml of paint so that's 10%?

So will I also need the Lechler Thinners?

Just had a read of the data sheet again and the Fast Activator reduces the Pot Life and being a Newbie at all this I need as much time as possible (I'm a bit slow!!)

So this is what I am planning to order:

That's just under £50 for 2 Ltrs of Epoxy, 1Ltr of Hardener 1Ltr of Thinners and 1Ltr of Panel Wipe, not a bad deal? The coverage of 1Ltr is aprox 4.5m2 (either 1 coat or 2-3, data sheet is a little confusing).
Anyway hopefully should be plenty for my Mini as I probably won't be taking it all back to bare metal. Is it OK to paint Epoxy onto top of existing paint? I know its pointless but its either that or strip the whole car?

Just check that supplier sells it tinted. Paints4u sell 2.5 litres, bit of an odd number. I have bought 2 litre tins from them in the past, wonder why its changed.

Checked just after I placed the order, the Lechler from Express Paints comes in Light Grey.

The light grey is the standard, ask for it to be tinted.
