Where to buy/rent gas .. in beds/bucks?

Does anyone have a recommendation for a local supplier in Leighton Buzzard/Milton Keynes area?

I happened to chat to Dylan at R-Tech about their compressors/cutters, and asked about shop soiled items.. He happened to have a Mig180 and whoops.. I ordered it.

The poor chap is asked on every enquiry about the shop soiled items - it was a one off kind of thing because something happened to a pallet load of stuff 18 months ago or something!

Anyway, I win!

Now I need to get some gas and learn how to weld..

All the gear and no idea.

Weldair only do straight argon or co2 I think and BOC nearest place is 35 wiggly miles away..

I found a couple of local places that are on the south west supplies list but their sites don't mention non disposable gas - have emailed..

There is a Adams gas supplier in Luton, one of the tool hire places. It seems since the guy I got myAdams from has retired and my account has passed to them, not sure if they are any good as yet as I've not had a refill yet..

PWP industrial in Bedford do the Albee range, I use PWP for most of my tig/mma rods, mig wire nice company to deal with.

Went there today to refill the mig bottle only to find it closed and empty, phone number is dead so waiting to see if we get a response via email..

Anyone know what's happened to them and if there's an alternative to getting refills using the same bottles? (we have mig and tig bottles through them)

Good Morning,

We are currently having a new floor fitted , we are still trading 9 -3 pm Monday to Friday & 9-12 Saturdays.
We are currently experiencing a problem with our phone lines. There is somebody in the office/shop if you knock on the window somebody will be able to give you a refill.
