is it possible to just buy a tig tourch

hi ladys and gentlemen i have a question.
ive got a standard tweco tig torch came with my thermal arc welding set i do like it but its starting to get really flexible in the head after a few runs
is it possible to just by a wolf craft / ck torch take my one off and replace ???

A WP9 TIG torch with a 12 1/2 ft gas/power lead 57Y01R-B with a 45v26 2.4 gas lens,10N24 2.4 collet,54N15 ceramic and a 57Y04 short back cap is ok for a Thermalarc 200GTS (this torch is available with a 200 CE flexible torch head)

Thats sound mate I've only got the 175 te at the moment all my leads and connectors are good it's just me touch that's the problem

A wp9 is good for 120 amps max after that you'll start to cook it. So your limiting your machine right down. Go with the wp17 langy linked you to which is more like 160amps.

You'll get a big gas lens for all torches with standard fittings. As for the "rat tail" ha ha do u mean back cap. Yes you'll get the desired length you want.

Stinger and gas axe are common ones for electrode tongs and cutting torch. A rats tail is a new one to me but if I'm honest it's pretty catchy.

I got lots of words for my clonking great WP26 TIG torch but I can't repeat em on here, but the idyllic french countryside (and there is a clue in there) is regularly disturbed by Anglo Saxon expletives. Hopefully not anymore as I have just changed the torch.1x excuse gone for my crap welding, but I've learned to be handy with a grinder anyway.
