Went and fitted a couple of extra steel box sections on burgar van this afternoon.

What's been happening that you are trying to prevent? the A frame is a classic structural layout I cant see were the issue lay and how adding these bits help, explain?

The owner has refinished the van and added a lot more weight to the van. Plus has started carrying bloggers gas cylinders at the front. He has had the axles replaced for stronger ones and was advised to add some more strength at the front to prevent flex which could cause it to buckle. So I was asked to fit the 2 new sections.

Ok, I understand the intention without the details just not something I should do personally that way over a regular A frame without someone else to blame. If you have that design as your given spec then you have that

That's about my thoughts, I try and be diplomatic in these matters while covering my rear though
