best hand cleaner?

if like me you can find grease in an hermetically clean envaroioument, what's people's thorts on best hand cleaners? Any home made concoctions?

I have had success with solopol but it's eye wateringly expensive.

This stuff is really good, but that tub will probably last you years, you only need a grape sized amount.

I've given up buying hand cleaner after finding washing up liquid with spoonful of sugar works just as well. If very oily then spoonful of veg oil massaged into the hands first breaks up even the worse of ingrained oil & grease.

I now wear blue nitrile gloves (99 % of the time)

Best hand cleaner I've found is the W5 stuff that you get in Lidl now and then. Will clean the worst oil, grease and dirt off everytime. Unfortunately I'm out of it now but I tried another product called swarfega heavy I got in screwfix. Quite good but it leaves an oily residue on your hands and you have to wash with ordinary hand soap afterwards.

the bilt hamber stuff is the best I've found. I'm trying to remember to wear gloves but keep shredding them when I do.

I'm trying to remember to wear gloves but keep shredding them when I do.

I can recommend the tiger grip orange nitrile gloves, they stand up to a lot of abuse. If I'm working at anything that's likely to damage the gloves I slip on a pair of mechanics gloves over them.

The nitrile gloves last a lot longer, the only thing that affects them is thinners.

Where I worked they used to supply disposable gloves that were resistant to thinners but they were probably a crazy price.

I have been using Solent Hand cleaner for five years now in all conditions without any complaint. ...........It is also very well priced.

I use Asda smart price washing up liquid with a few grains of DAZ laundry powder. Cleans just about anything off.
Residue has to be washed off with soap, tho.

The only thing I've ever found I'm allergic to is barrier cream - gives me dermatitis!

I use comma mantisa hand cleaner, a small tub (425ml) lasts me a year, although I'll get through 2000 vinyl gloves in that time
