I'm coming to the finish of my workshop revamp I made it a bit wider and swapped the roof from flat to pitched with some storage space

It's a handy planner, I used it to plan my workshop layout too. Unfortunately I hang onto crap and gather broken machines so I finished up with a mess that needs sorting out again!

Well my workshop has been a crap magnet for 20 years but this time there's a skip outside that's me waving goodbye to some more crap.

If it were mine I would get rid of the bench on the 26' wall and put in a big (4'x8') or huge (5'x10') bench in the middle. This may not be good for you, it depends what you do in your shop.

Well my shop doesn't have a 26' wall. In fact, the total length of all the walls in my workshop is less than double that. If it was mine then I'd have a gantry crane to move everything around so the pallet wouldn't be a problem.

The bench is going on levelling casters so I can move it into the middle or spin it around.

I have 5 or 6 of the bisley multi drawers there going in the bench

Good idea. I have three of those and getting them tidied up my workshop a lot. I made card inserts and use them to store small parts and tools.

Dearly Beloved bought a couple of things for the school fete, years ago. Of course we went, and she came home with a couple of bags of tat, as usual, including.....need I finish that statement.

How do you get into the workshop? I always try and take that into consideration when placing things, can be awkward getting in large awkward items if a machine is in the way!
