Will this deteriorate with age, only use it occasionally but prefer compound/paste to liquid.

n o i have a gallon of it and had it for 10 years apart from using a bit. i mix some down with white spirit and put it in a squeezy bottle for applying small amounts other times i just paste it on with a stick

That's all good to know. I'd only heard of it for the first time today (I normally use 3-in-1 for drilling / cutting), then googled it cos I can't resist an internet special, and discovered that it was £ per ml probably more expensive the unicorn-tears!

But, if a £20 tin will last me 30 years then that's fine

but dont get the red chlorine free stuff it stinks and its crap, the brown paste is best

That Rocols been on the go sometime, I first used it in the early 70s so you could say its tried and tested

I use about 1 bottle of liquid a year, don't buy the spray tho it's crap.
