Top tip, if you find a pair of old tin snips where the handles come together at the handle end be extra careful when cutting sheet metal up. A large black mans pinch on your bell end is guarranteed to make your eyes water.

Watched my mate Rog do it years ago it, when he was cutting panels for me to weld into his sunbeam tiger, it clamped onto his right NUT------ I said I was waiting for that to happen--- he answered by throwing a lump hammer at me !!

u can get tapped up with birds more if u dont wear a ring and your married cos if u wore one and took it off u would see the mark and they DO notice 2

I Don't like jewelry at the best of times,
I ditched mine whilst on Honeymoon----first wife was navigating me on Scottish international Rally in chase car and I had to change the axle on Phil Collins Manta, I carried the old axle out and dropped it on the grass coz it was VERY hot only thing was a split pin went down the back of the ring and nearly ripped my finger off---- never wore on since.
Good news was I got the axle changed !

keep the races for old knackered ball / roller bearing as the can be used as circular parallels when machining parts (as they are precision ground). I also use square lathe tool blanks for parallels too. I only machine small items though

It could have been me, I was tightening the connectors after fitting the tail lift wires on a 24v wagon battery. I'd kept the spanner inside my hand didn't think about my ring touching the spanner and the bearer.Good grief. I bet that smarted more than a bit

I managed to get a bit of spatter from arc welding on my wedding ring ( no gloves on ) it stuck on and the ring got mighty hot , managed to pull it off , had a blister same as the ring , never wore it again !
