didnt used to be an offence to advertise a silly price, but it was an offence to advertise a price at which you were not willing to sell the goods at. Fathom that-- dont ask me how I know--- trading Standards confrontation.!!!

I did get a Facom socket set for £119.00 and the cheapest it's ever shown anywhere else is £240 up to £300. Needles to say I was worried. It was delivered though and the site changed the price within days

I had the same from prime tools with a set of 4 facom circlip pliers for 25 quid. Normally nearer 100, sometimes 75 when on offer!

I know the set's you are on about they aren't £25! heh

That socket set wasn't one of those starter Facom ones either. Full fat with spinner bar, full set of sockets up to 34, extensions etc. Cromwell on mine.

Yeah it was the 4 piece set with no plastic handles, just full chromed construction and piano wire tips. They are normally £25 for each plier, like yours the price went up to around £80 for the set a day after!!

To be honest the little disclaimer is pointless, I haven't bought one as I couldn't be bothered with the faff of selling it if it arrived, but paypal gets to the stage where it will take the money and if its from a paypal balance it will go instantly​
