Used to get them on a very regular basis but not had one for ages, wonder if I got blacklisted because I always gave them away?...they were still being used and MM was making money so can't see why if that's the case.

Not had a vat free offer for ages but they have sent offers for money off specific items with a code to use.

I had one that expired on Sunday that I didn't use..I forgot all about it! They are out there..
I was wanting to get something vat in May of this year, I only got a vat free invitation about a month ago and got the item I wanted last week. seems like they used to send them out every couple of months but not any more. they might also have the welder you want as a refurbished/shop soiled unit. a couple of months ago I needed a new drill so got one of these for £143

I used to get the VAT free day invitation both in the post and on an email regularly, didn't get one for the last day (which I knew was coming as I'd asked in the local store), so I phoned their customer services line.
They told me that now they only send invitations out if the customer has bought a certain amount of stuff from them since the previous VAT free day.
I was lucky, he took pity on me and gave me a discount code to use, but if I hadn't asked in the store before the VAT free days, I wouldn't have known anything about it...

That does work at the Norwich MachineMart store, and it is one of the main reasons I will no longer deal with MM............ with the exception of 1 particular item that I cannot seem to source anywhere else at a decent price.

I subscribed to the newsletter online, then about a month after bought something from a store (clamps or something, can't remember), I made a point of giving them my details/email address when at the till, they added me to the "system". Then about a month later got a VAT free voucher, then got another voucher every few months since.

That would be pretty awesome if you're sure? I'll have to speak to SWMBO tonight to make sure she hasn't "forgot" about getting one. Will let you know after I'm home if that's okay with you?
