I have been getting mixed info on google, just looking for a kg/Msq value really

Msq? Metre-Square?

The weight is by volume, not area. We need to know the thickness too.

Sheet and plate is dead easy to work out, all you need to remember is that 1 sq metre of 1mm sheet weighs 7.85kg, everything else is a multiple, so 1 sq metre of 10mm would be 78.5 kg. or for 8mm plate 7.85 x 8 = 62.8kg per sq metre, the same formula can be used to work out flats as well

By far easier just to use the given weights for each section size you are using... weights are readily available from just about any stockholder.

I'm not actually making anything, need to know the overall weight of something I have drawn up, seems easiest to calculate volume in cc then use that to calculate weight.

0.28 lbs/cubic inches is what we were taught on my mechanical engineering course, never quite got the hang of this metric thing

its a frame that houses a few gears and a worm screw. The gears and worm screw are not allowed to change in any way, the frame has to accept certain loads and come in under a certain weight.

It can vary between 7850kg/M^3 to 8050kg/M^3, depending on the alloy. If you know the volume (in M^3) multiply it by 8050 and that's the weight in kg. You could also use the volume in g/cm^3 * 8.05 to give the weight in grams. When you said weight in the title, you meant density.
