I need a traffic light with bulbs for a project I'm planning, anyone know of where I can get my hands on one for not very many beer tokens?

You could try emailing this ebay seller after the end of the auction and ask to buy one of the lampheads, either from the new owner, or if it doesn't meet reserve

I've tried, they are all jobsworths and either have to be recycled or not approved under elf n saaaftey

Isn't there one on a local street? Worked with a guy that borrowed one of them flashing yellow lights powered with a six volt battery. Could not get it turned off, covered it with a coat,driving through town, police pulled them over. Police walked up to the car and simply said "put it back." They said how did You know? He said step outside and look. a lit up coat in the back.

Cheers mate, sorry it was a bit rushed as I was getting late for the meeting,

Nice one and I'll post some pics when all done a few weeks after I've decorated the house, which needs to be done before new furniture arrives
