anyone got a laser cutter?

can someone with a laser cutter pm me please? I am sure I have seen someone on here say they have one/access to one.

I need some letters and numbers cut from red vinyl (which I can provide) as the ones I hand cut look crap and I doubt they will last long as the rough edges are letting eater under them

either really, didn't know there were specific vinyl cutters, thought it was all done by laser

this is true, but the 2 sign makers local to me only cut signs they fit, and I'm not paying them to put some stickers on for me, the ones I did are perfectly level and central, and didn't take that much effort, they just look crap because I cut them with a Stanley knife on a kitchen worktop

I think you need a vinyl cutter. Not a laser from what you are saying. I can sort this for you but not till November. What are you sticking it on as its not the rough edges that should be causing you an issue. A vinyl cutter is basically a glorified stanley blade, all be it a lot smaller version. It drags the knife around and this cuts the vinyl , but not the backing, assuming its all set up correctly

There are many many types of vinyl and quality . i.e how long it will last etc. Stickyness and thickness.

I have my own cutters and I used to sell the cutters for a guy on ebay so what you need is a piece of cake.

here is my attempt at making my own signage

and this is the problem I am getting. All stickers put on cleaned and dry glass at the same time

that was flat with no air bubbles. When it rained its like it has washed the glue away on the raised bit. Am going to re cut another 9 and a o in the morning and try them again

had thought of that but seemed more hard work due to the shape of the glass and the cover for the wiper motor
