Large diameter cardboard(?) tube

Fibreboard drums are about the right diameter, but never seem one 6' long....

Bendy Mdf and some discs?

Look for fibre board drums, you could join them together with parcel tape. Like these we used to get stuff in pellet form delivered to a place I worked and it came in something like this but with a clamp on lid. I like the sound of bendy milf

I bought a coil of 0.7mm copper sheet to roof our extension and that came on thick cardboard tubes of around 450mm diameter. You could try asking copper/zinc roof specialists.

Got some ideas to go on.

Now I just need to work out how to make a cone or crenalated top.
I'm thinking bendy MDF (milf ) rolled into a drum with crenalations cut first.

Just chuck her in a large box, tape it up and tell her the evil king has locked the princess in the dungeon. It's make believe. You can literally get away with murder.

Another way to do towers would be with thin centre pieces, just going larger top and bottom. Something like the carpet tubes mentioned for the centre portions and then old hat boxes or similar for the top and bottom portions. There's nowt to say they have to be of consistent width all the way.

What about spiral steel ducting tube, quite cheap and the right size more so if you get some off cuts. Then to make it paintable just cover it wall paper paste and lining paper?

The cardboard carpet tubes make pretty decent free fuel for a wood stove, outrageous amount of ash though, but beggars can't be choosers.
