ebay international shipping program?

So just got a message I will be automatically enrolled to this , dont want it, have enough problems with people in this country .. but how do they even work out postage for the prices they will show international buyers? Anything I sell is an awkward pallet wrapped object that pretty much only citylink seem to not mind. (Yet to have a single problem with them btw!)

It seems you post it to them and they forward it on internationally. As long as they back you up with the inevitable "it hasn't arrived" etc it should be fine

You don't, the international delivery service does it all. I can't remember whether you send it to a depot in the UK or they collect it.

It's quite useful for buying from the states - everything comes in, to your door, import duties already paid, no hassles.

I only sell bits and often post to Europe (Greece with Diesel engine bits a lot) and don't mind as long as they pay for it to be collected, I know dropping it at the couriers is cheaper but I don't have the time these days

I understand you have to post it to their uk address and it goes from there .. im confused on how they price shipping there end if they don't actually know the dimensions/weight and how its packaged ?

Wrong, cos you can opt out! What it does is encourage international buyers to buy from you.

I'll be opting out! There's a reason I ship to the UK only, because I'm sick of "items not arriving". I've only had one this year go missing, touchwood.

The place is full of jokers and dreamers anyway. I've a set of genuine Ford RS side skirts for a Mk3 Fiesta on there for £25, bearing in mind a complete kit is worth over £300 these days, and some idiot offered £10..
