Longer torch hose

I've got a clarke 100e, however my workshop isn't spacious enough to allow me to have the unit on a cart and move around as required.

Is there anyway I can fit a longer torch hose without going down the euro conversion route?

Even if there is, the Euro conversion is a far batter option in the long run, (and I don't often praise anything the do with Europe !!!!)

There was a member that got hold of a euro torch cheep (free ?) and if I recall cut it up (removed euro plug) to fit to a SIP or some similar machine. The problem would come that the smaller machines with there own type torch will have the gas valve in the torch. Could be made to work but you would have to find a dirt cheep (damaged?) torch to be worth while. Don't go overboard with the length. I got myself a 4mt (euro) torch to replace the 3mt one I had but tend to find with 0.6 wire (on car bodywork) being pushed up a 4mt length it does not always work the best. So generally use the 3mt one and 4mt for 0.8 wire.

I asked Weldequip about upgrading to a 4m torch when ordering my Portamig and he advised against it unless I was using 0.8mm wire or above.

The 100e is small and portable, how about using a longer gas hose and leaving the bottle etc on the cart?
